Tiger Napping in Water

Tiger Insider

I had the lucky opportunity to go on the Tiger Insider tour at Busch Gardens, which included going behind the scenes to learn more about the tigers and how they care for them. An interesting note is that tigers will roll around in taco spices like domestic cats do with catnip. While waiting for the tour to begin, I was able to capture a few shots of the tigers cooling off in the Florida heat. This one in particular is like my goal every weekend – napping in the pool.

Tiger Napping in Water

“I’ve never forgotten him. Dare I say I miss him? I do. I miss him. I still see him in my dreams. They are nightmares mostly, but nightmares tinged with love. Such is the strangeness of the human heart. I still cannot understand how he could abandon me so unceremoniously, without any sort of goodbye, without looking back even once. The pain is like an axe that chops my heart. ”
― Yann Martel, Life of Pi
