Pont au Double

I took this photo under a bridge (Pont au Double) near Notre-Dame de Paris. I loved the vintage, beautiful lines of the Pont au Double (bridge) against the calm waters of the Seine. Also, I felt like I could hide under there, listening to street musicians on the bridge above and relaxing. It was one of those perfect life/travel moments.

When I daydream about perfect spots, I imagine strolling under the bridges along the banks of the Seine. Beautiful bridges, cobblestone paths, lapping water, and beautiful boats. I find Paris magical. Maybe part of the magic comes with eating delicious eclairs and drinking Angelina’s hot cocoa; however, I can’t discredit the beautiful Paris light, the smell of the air, and the beautiful way that the French language echos like a song off of the buildings.
