Palais-Royal

On a chilly evening, I visited the Palais-Royal. Children played tag, kicked balls, and rode scooters in the courtyard. Their laughter echoed against the buildings. Older Parisians chatted with each other, walked dogs, read books, and checked their phones. Tourists took selfies on Les Deux Plateaux. Everyone seemed to echo my contentment to be in such a lively, happy location.
