Songs for Cooking a Feast

Because 2020 has been an amalgamated monster of a year, it feels extra important to give thanks for the good and celebrate the holidays (safely at home). Because I’ve been working on becoming a better cook, I took on a bigger meal than usual this year: beef tenderloin with an array of sides from scratch (from Hello Fresh). I did it as a pre-Thanksgiving meal for my family. It ended up being a lot of fun, and the food turned out excellent (edible, even). 

While cooking, I binged gameshows (Supermarket Sweep and I Can Hear Your Voice). But after a while of chopping and dicing, I longed for some good chilled out music. So, I made this mix. They are songs that make me think about going home, being with my family, and enjoying a good meal. They are songs that feel like being filled with goodness.
