A Doe in a Field

A Doe

Over the summer, I visited my sister, Anissa, who was staying with her in-laws in Sarasota. They have a ranchette just outside of town that is surrounded by beautiful fields, old crooked trees, horse farms, and tons of animals. There were families of wild turkeys and horses grazing in each yard. And honestly, I hadn’t ever seen so many deer at once before. I watched them hopping over fences and eating grass from the fields, and I was instantly in love.

Someday, I could so easily see myself living in a small house in the country. I love nature, wild animals, gardening, and the quiet. I could be more than happy taking long walks, photographing wildlife, and growing a garden.  Always a hippie, earth-lover at heart.
