Peacock

Full Peacock

One of my yearly traditions is spending a relaxing day at Discovery Cove. I love to snorkel in the Grand Reef and take photos in their beautiful aviary (see: Guira Cuckoo 1, Guira Cuckoo 2, and Little Bird).  I’ve gone for quite a few years now, but I’ve never been lucky enough to catch one of their peacocks showing their feathers. This male was showing off for his mate, and I was able to catch a couple of great photos. I love this one because it shows just how blue the feathers on his head and neck are.
