Ghostbusters & Halloween Pumpkin Carving

Happy Halloween, my witches. Nothing gets me more in the Halloween spirit than carving a few pumpkins.  

Earlier this week, I visited the market and loved seeing the trailers full of pumpkins. It reminded me of being a kid in Ohio and the yearly visits to the Circle S Farms pumpkin patch. I can still remember that distinct smell of the hay bales in the big play barn. I remember a giant slide and rope swings. Isn’t it funny how those memories from such a young age stay so well etched into your memory?

While I carve pumpkins, I always love to watch a good Halloween themed movie. I watched Ghostbusters. To be fair, it is one of my all-time favorite movies, but while I will watch it all year long, it does feel extra special in October. Gotta love Stay Puft.

So, am I the only one who had a major crush on Egon Spengler? Intelligence is sexy.
