Ghosties

When I heard that the Haunted Mansion ballroom dancers were featured in the Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, I was so there. I love Halloween… I mean like LOVE Halloween, so it probably isn’t much of a surprise that I also love The Haunted Mansion.

The party was a lot of fun. Even in mid-September, everyone was in costume and had great Halloween spirit. However, Disney didn’t make the rules very clear about costumes, and most of the adults were in costume, and I really wished that I had dressed up too.

My main goal was photos from the parade. Between my inexperience and the weird Disney parade lighting, getting crisp photos was a bit of a challenge. Most of my photos were all blurs and weirdness, but I kind of loved that effect on this shot of the ballroom dancers. Very ghostly. I so wish that I had one of these costumes.
