Armature Works FI

Lunch at Armature Works

Earlier this year, Armature Works opened in Tampa. The building was once a streetcar maintenance and storage facility. I had heard wonderful things about how they had used the original architecture to create a very cool European style food hall.

So when I was downtown the other day, I decided to visit for lunch. I had the Seared Ahi Tuna Tartine at Graze 1910 (absolutely amazing!), and then had a few shots of espresso and a Coffee Cola (weird yet amazingly addictive and delicious) at Union by Commune + Co. The building is beyond beautiful; I love all of the work that they put into preserving so many of the original details, which in turn makes for a really unique location. Also, although it was insanely busy, everyone was relaxed and just hanging out having a good time, making for a really cool atmosphere.
