New York City: A Blustery Sendoff

After the rainy Saturday, Sunday turned just miserable and cold. I was exhausted and my feet were sore, so I stuck close to the hotel. I had breakfast at a Joe & the Juice (a place I wanted to try to Iceland) and hung out on the roof of the hotel for awhile.

Before I leave the city, I have a tradition of always visiting Grand Central last. It is my favorite place in New York City. It is one of the most beautiful buildings that I’ve ever seen, and it is just brimming with possibilities. Also, I love to romanticize train travel. I’ve never been on a train, and I want to so bad.

And then, I flew home. And as always, I was reminded of exactly why I love home.
