Powerlines and Sunrise

Sunrise and Powerlines

Generally, when it is chilly outside and my kittens are snuggling in bed with me, it is near impossible to wake me up early in the morning. I covet my sleep.  However, on Saturday, I woke up full of energy and feeling creative before dawn, so I pulled together my camera and my new lens (Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM Lens) and went to visit my favorite tree. While the tree looked beautiful and had a gorgeous morning moon, the sunrise was like a dancing firestorm behind the powerlines in park . The colors were so vibrant and contrasted so well with the dark of the powerlines that I focused all of my effort in those few golden moments there. It was definitely well worth getting up early for.
