Sun Voyager FI

Walking Reykjavik

Spent the morning walking around Reykjavík. It was cold but the colors in the beautiful morning sky made it worth it. Saw the Sun Voyager, Harpa concert hall, the Old Harbor, Damon Albarn’s bar, and Hallgrimskirkja church.

While out walking, my phone freaked out and went from 80% to 1% and then died. Of course, my backup charger was at the hotel charging for the flight… and then I got lost. And then I freaked out because I had a bus to catch and no map. And then I came upon the lake where huge, beautiful swans were sliding around all over the ice… and I laughed and then suddenly I found my way.

On a flight home in a few hours. I’m looking forward to junk food, cat snuggles, good WiFi, and sleep.

Thank you all for following along and commenting. It really helped me to feel connected to home.
