Watercolor Doodle Lion

Watercolor Doodle Lion

I enjoy mixing watercolors and random doodles as a form of meditation. For the last few weeks, I’ve been toying around with this lion and took photos along the way.

For the background, I used a Pentel Arts Aquash Water Brush with Caran d’Ache Neocolor II Water Soluable Pastels, which are two of my favorite art supplies. Then, I outlined with a black Sharpie, and then did the doodle fills with a combination of Pitt Artist Pens and Pigma Micron Pens. I can’t decide which of these pens I like better, so I keep and use both kinds as needed.
