Spider Building Web

Web Building

For the last few weeks, this spider has been building small webs in different areas of my patio.  On Saturday morning, I came home from yoga and found that it was in the process of building this massive web across the back corner of the patio. It must’ve been at work for hours, and I only really noticed because the sunrise was at that perfect golden moment where it caught on the edges of the web and made it glisten. I dug out my favorite macro lens and took a few shots. The spider was so busy and unfazed by my presence, and I was able to watch out it weaved each layer of the web together. It was fascinating and beautiful.
