Toad

A Visitor

Yesterday, I was finally took down my Christmas decorations. While cleaning up some dead buds in my Christmas plant, I noticed something shiny down under the leaves. When I turned the pot around for a better look, I saw this fat toad nestled under the leaves in the dirt. He was super mellow and let me move around the pot while I took his photo. In particular, I think his eye is really cool.

Once I was done, I turned him back around to his happy spot on my front porch. I’m hoping that now that the holidays are over, I’ll have more time for my happy place, outside taking photos and inside painting away in my new art room.
