Santa in Police Cart

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! I hope that all of your holidays are lovely.

To treat myself and get into a festive spirit, I went to Disney World and Universal Studios to see the Christmas decorations. I did a morning at Holidays Around the World at Epcot (really enjoyed Pere Noel and the Kwanzaa story), an evening at The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Hollywood Studios, stayed at Cabana Bay (loved their retro silver Christmas trees), and then spent the day seeing the Macy’s floats (Scooby, Garfield, Grover!) and Grinchmas at Universal. All made possible by annual passes.

I loved The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. Until you walk onto a street decorated with 5 million Christmas lights, you have no idea. There was music, fake snow, and a great spirit. Everyone was so happy, ohhing and awwing. It was hard to not get caught up in the moment. I loved all of the hidden Mickeys, and the jokes with the decorations. I was particularly fond of Santa in the police cart.
