Vintage Christmas Ornaments

My Grandmother was amazing in how she saved important pieces of our family history. Using her boxes of saved information, which included photos, newspaper clippings, and other family information, I was able to piece together a fairly detailed family tree that really helped me to understand my family a lot better.

Back in one of the boxes, I found a small Lazarus box with some of my Great Grandparent’s Christmas tree ornaments. I found a mixture of beautiful glass bulbs and light bulbs from a kitschy old set of lights that had been tied off to hang on the tree. I love having a bit of my family history hanging on my Christmas tree. It also gave me an excuse to play around taking photos of Christmas lights.
